AS SEEN ON...

Rosalia Rivera is a consent educator and child sexual abuse prevention specialist, sexual literacy advocate, 2x TEDx speaker, rape culture disruptor, and the founder of CONSENTparenting™, the host of the AboutCONSENT™ podcast and creator of CONSENTwear™.

Rosalia is a CSA survivor, thriver, and parent of three. After years of struggling with anxiety and triggers related to her own abuse, she discovered how difficult it was to learn about abuse prevention when it was time to educate her own kids. Determined to break the intergenerational cycle of abuse in her family, Rosalia dedicated herself to her healing so she could overcome the barriers that kept coming up when learning about abuse prevention. Now, she helps busy parents go from fearful and anxious to confident and empowered when it comes to teaching their kids about body safety, boundaries, and consent--preventing sexual abuse before it happens.

That is when she created and founded CONSENTparenting™ and launched her AboutCONSENT™ podcast, dedicated to survivors and those who support survivors to share interviews with experts in the field of mental wellness, trauma, and survivors/thrivers. She has helped thousands of parents through her various social media platform content, her well-reviewed workshops, and programs.

Rosalia is a Co-founder of SAGE and the Brave Movement to End Childhood Sexual Violence, as well as a Co-founder of the Survivors Council of Canada

She is also a Certified Practitioner of the Conscious Parenting Coaching Method® from Dr. Shefali Tsabary's CPCM Institute. Rosalia is also certified in the Canadian Centre for Child Protection® COMMIT TO KIDS® Child Sexual Abuse Prevention Training Program and is an Authorized Facilitator of the Stewards Of Children® Training by Darkness to Light®, as well as OnWatch™ Anti-Trafficking Certified.

In 2023 she was named a Verywell Mind 25 Mental Health Champion Honeree.

Through her brave, open, and empowering conversations, she guides and supports legions of parents in taking courageous action to shift culture and create safer homes, schools, and communities.

Her Instagram account continues to rapidly grow with, now, over 150k engaged followers, with her other platforms quickly growing. She has a dedicated listenership on her podcast with well-respected guests, including Alyssa Milano, looking to share their expertise with her audience.

In 2021 and 2022 she spoke at TEDxOneonta on the topic of dismantling rape culture (2021) and creating consent culture (2022).

In 2019, Rosalia was awarded a Hay House Diverse Wisdom Program scholarship to begin working on her upcoming book, a guide to abuse prevention for survivor parents. She is currently working on a prevention book for parents and a children’s book series about secrets, both to be released in 2025.

Although Rosalia was born in El Salvador and grew up in NY, she now resides in northern Canada with her life partner and three young kids.

I have three missions!

#1: To help parents & caregivers to empower the children in their lives through consent education (and irradicate child sexual abuse like we irradiated polio).

#2: To help childhood sexual trauma survivors find their voice, rediscover their power and reclaim their innate sexual divinity.

#3: To dismantle shame around sexuality through education and awareness.
